Quilting prices are calculated on a square foot basis.  To find the square foot measurements of your quilt top, multiply the length in inches times the width in inches & divide by 144.

Thread is included in quilting charge.

 

Edge to Edge Quilting  
A continuous line design that is quilted from one edge to the other covering the entire quilt, including borders.

$2.50 per square foot + taxes (minimum $40 charge)


Custom Quilting
Is a combination of pantograph designs, block insets, channel quilting and a variety of free-hand quilting including outlining, meandering, stitching in the seams, and echo quilting around figures and appliqués

$5.00 per square foot + taxes (minimum $50 charge)


Semi-Custom Quilting 

Edge to Edge is completed in the center of the quilt and borders are given a unique pattern to set it apart from the center.

· One Border—$2.75 per sq foot + taxes

· Two Borders—$3.00 per sq foot + taxes

· Each additional border increase price by $0.25 per square foot




An additional labour charge of $10.00 per hour will be added for any miscellaneous work (repairing seams, squaring up backing, & piecing)

Calculating Quilting Cost  - Example:

Quilt size is 90” x 96”

90 x 96 = 8640

8640/144 = 60

Quilting price $2.50/sq foot

$2.50 x 60   = $150
